Description
The tinySA Ultra+ portable spectrum analyzer features a 4,0-inch resistive touchscreen color display that displays the full frequency range at 450 scan points, and comes with a rechargeable battery that provides up to two hours of operation in portable mode. In addition, the analyzer has two different modes: normal mode and ultra mode. The tinySA Ultra+ has a variety of built-in setup options, such as a switchable bandpass filter and a step input attenuator. It is important to remember that the maximum input level of the tinySA is +6 dBm. If you are unsure of the input signal level, it is recommended to use an attenuator.
When not being used as a spectrum analyzer, the tinySA Ultra+ can also be used as a sine or square wave generator.
The analyzer can be fully controlled from a PC via a USB cable. It also features automatic self-diagnosis and auto-calibration using a built-in signal generator.
Comparison
TinySA Ultra (ZS405) and TinySA Ultra+ (ZS407) are both portable spectrum analyzers, but the Ultra+ has a more advanced specification. The TinySA Ultra+ supports a wider frequency range: 0,1-900 MHz (0,1-800 MHz for the basic TinySA Ultra model) and up to 7,3 GHz in Ultra mode (5,3 GHz for the TinySA Ultra). In addition, the TinySA Ultra+ also has higher signal generation limits: up to 6,3 GHz for square waves and 7,3 GHz for test signals, in contrast to the TinySA Ultra's performance: 4,4 GHz and 5,3 GHz, respectively. Both models have a 4-inch color screen with a resolution of 450 dots, a microSD card slot and memory for storing measurement results and settings. The improved TinySA Ultra+ model is ideal for more demanding tasks and professional use.
