TNC
The TNC series is a widely used coaxial connector. The same size as BNC, but with a threaded connection mechanism, this connector can be used at frequencies up to 11 GHz. Variants with impedance of 50 Ω and 75 Ω are possible. Connector options are available for flexible, conformal, and semi-rigid types of cables. Variants of the TNC connector are intended for mounting on printed circuit boards both by the through-solder method and by the press fit method. For this series, both crimping and clamping methods of cable termination are used. The field of application of these connectors is from signal and data transmission to video transmission, where resistance to vibrations is required. TNCs are an inexpensive high-frequency solution for coaxial connections.
The sealing of the mating surfaces of the TNC connectors between the plug and the socket (coupled) corresponds to the IP 68 standard.
