SMA
SMA straight pin connector for G10 cable (SSF-141, Flexiform 402)
SMA pin connector G7 (RG-316/U), soldering/crimping
The SMA series is a very popular coaxial connector with a threaded connection, which can be used at frequencies above 18 GHz (depending on the type). Impedance is controlled at the level of 50 ohms. There are connectors for flexible, conformal and semi-rigid types of cables. SMA connectors can be installed on printed circuit boards both by the through soldering and pressing method and by the surface mounting (SMD) method. Soldering, crimping, and clamping methods are used to connect to the cables of this series. Applications of SMA include communications, satellites and test equipment.
The sealing of the mating surfaces of SMA connectors between the plug and the socket (mating) complies with protection class IP 68.
