The MCX series miniature connectors use a snap-on coupling and are suitable for use at frequencies up to 6 GHz. Impedance is controlled at the level of 50 ohms. Connectors are intended for flexible, conformal and semi-rigid cables. Through-soldering, press-fitting and surface mounting (SMT) technologies are used for mounting on printed circuit boards. Soldering and crimping technologies are used to connect to the cables of this series. Due to their small size, these connectors are used in small devices and communication equipment.
