RG-59 cable design
Structurally cable RG-59 consists of:
- the central conductor is a non-insulated copper wire with a diameter of 0.81 ±0.03 mm
- internal dielectric made of foamed polyethylene with a diameter of 3.66 ±0.10 mm
- the first shielding layer of aluminum foil
- the second shielding layer is an aluminum alloy braid with a diameter of 4.20 mm with a filling of 60%
- outer protective shell made of black PVC plastic with a diameter of 6 ±0.15 mm
Electrical characteristics of the RG-59 cable

Mechanical characteristics of the cable RG-59
Minimum single bending radius: 60 mm
Minimum repeated bending radius: 120 mm
Operating temperature range: -20...+80 oС
Packaging and labeling
The cable is supplied in coils with a nominal length of 500 m.
On request, it is possible to cut the RG-59 cable into shorter lengths.
Compatibility and analogues
The RG-59 coaxial cable is included in the G2 cable group and is similar in size to the following widely used types of HF coaxial cables: 0.6/3.7, 0.6L/3.7, 3C-2V, 8241, KX 6A, RG-59B/U, VK95 0.6/3.7, 0.6L/3.7 AF PVC.
