Design of RFA-1/2″-50 cable in NGMD sheath
Structurally, the RFA-1/2″-50 cable (feeder) in the NGMD sheath consists of:
- copper central conductor with a diameter of 4,8 mm
- a dielectric made of foamed polyethylene with a diameter of 12,1 mm
- outer conductor: corrugated copper tube with a diameter of 13,9 mm
- protective shell: black thermoplastic, resistant to the spread of flame, low smoke, halogen-free, resistant to ultraviolet light and the influence of external factors, diameter 16,0 mm.
A unique feature of RFA series cables is a two-layer protective sheath consisting of a hard surface layer of HDPE and a softer layer of LDPE. This design provides the best protection for all operational influences without reducing the flexibility of the cable.
In addition, the foamed dielectric has an extremely high level of expansion and a special surface layer for additional protection.
