1/2″ cable stripping tool for SIMFix Pro/ST connectors

Description and purpose

The tool is used when preparing 1/2″ corrugated cable for installing connectors. It allows you to quickly and efficiently perform the following actions:

• cut the outer conductor tube of the cable exactly along the top of the corrugation wave. At the same time, the blade will stop in time to avoid damaging the thin copper layer of the inner conductor
• chamfer the inner conductor to center it during assembly
• flare the outer conductor after installing the connector clamping collet

Suitable for stripping the following cable types: RFA 1/2″-50; RFS LCF 12-50; Eupen 5128; Commscope LDF4-50A; HPL50-1/2; HFC-1/2″; 10D-SFCR.

Tungsten cutting blades manufactured by the German company SOLINGEN are used.

The tool comes with 3 (three) spare blades. A distinctive feature is that the cable in the tool is pressed against the blade using a metal insert, which ensures an extended service life.
