OSLT calibration kit for VNA
The kit is designed to calibrate vector circuit analyzers before measurements so that the device can separate its own errors from the real parameters of the measurement object.
The VNA itself has systematic errors: non-ideal directivity, impedance mismatch, losses, phase shifts, parasitic reflections in cables, adapters and connectors. Calibration to Open, Short, Load, Through standards allows the instrument to build a mathematical model of these errors and then compensate for them in measurements.
The accuracy of a VNA calibration is directly dependent on the calibration standards being matched to the measurement object. For correct results, the standards must have the same connector type and gender as the measurement object. For example, to measure coaxial cable assemblies with N-type male connectors, calibration standards with N-type male connectors should be used.
The set contains the following standards with N pin connector:
Open – opening, infinitely large resistance
Shorts – short circuit, zero resistance
Load – matched load, impedance 50 Ohm
Through – direct connection
Features:
Operating frequency range: up to 6 GHz
Connection standard: N pin
Wave resistance: 50 ohms
Mathematical calibration model: ideal OSLT
