RG-178 cable design
Structurally, the RG-178 cable consists of:
- stranded central conductor with a diameter of 0,3 mm, consisting of seven copper-plated steel wires with a diameter of 0,1 mm each,
- fluoroplastic dielectric, with an outer diameter of 0,87 mm,
- screen braiding of silver-plated copper wire, outer diameter 1,30 mm,
- fluoroethylene propylene external insulation of brown color, with an external diameter of 1,80 mm.
Electrical characteristics of the RG-178 cable
Operating frequency: up to 2,5 GHz
Reduction ratio: 70%
The range of working temperatures is from -55 to +200 degrees.

As it happens, my last cable failed at the most unexpected moment. I was not at a loss, I asked my friends for advice. They sent me by exile to Selteq. It really was the best decision. I was advised a cable that can withstand the most difficult conditions and increased loads.
