With a 20 MHz I/Q demodulation bandwidth, -152 dBm (1 Hz) average noise floor display, and an overall measurement uncertainty of less than 0.5 dB, the R&S FSL is unique in its price range. An additional preamplifier, combined with an RF attenuator that provides attenuation tuning in 5 dB steps, optimizes the dynamic range. In addition, the R&S FSL has a high measurement speed. It provides over 80 sweeps per second with zero span and can perform a wide variety of measurements during the manufacturing process. It also has the following features: fast time domain adjacent channel power measurements for the latest mobile radio standards, frequency list mode measurements with 300 analyzer parameters set by a single remote control command, time domain power measurements with channel or RRC filters and fast frequency measurement with a resolution of 0.1 Hz with a measurement time of less than 50 ms. Among the standard features of the R&S FSL is the 10/100 Base-T network interface, which offers faster speeds than the IEC/IEEE bus, especially when transferring large data blocks. However, remote control via the IEC/IEEE bus is still possible. With a small footprint of less than 7 kg and battery operation, the R&S FSL is ideal for commissioning and service work in the field.
